VBGK 2 Burner Electric Cooktop 110V 2100W Built-In & Countertop Electric Stove Top with Fast Heating for Home Kitchen & RV

The unit came carefully packed. It took me awhile before I got to it. Being installed in a liveaboard motor yacht to replace an obsolete electric stove. I took the old cooktop off and fit the new cook top into the space of the old top.The cooktop seems well made and quite attractive. I got it installed after quite a bit of work with included making space for the top to fit the space on the built-in stove. Some careful work with a cutoff grinder did the job, making space in the existing stainless steel frame.Once I got it in I tried to turn it on. Its not intuitive and I read the manual which is strangely written but will get you thru the use of the cooktop. Immediately I saw a distressing element of the cooktop when turned on which was distressing. The digital readout telling you the burner function is so dim I cannot make it out without turning off the kitchen overhead light. For me this is not a good result because the readout is the full indication of all one needs to know about what is happening with the cooktop function.I have used the top enough to know it functions very well. At its price point and quality, I would score it 5 stars, but the readout is a definite bummer. Too bad.I purchased a Kenyon cooktop from Amazon several years ago for another boat. It cost three times as much, is not as attractive, but worked very well during its years of use by us. I'm hoping lightening strikes twice, but.....the dim readout on this unit is a bummer.

It's a great item!

Have had this a couple of weeks and so far, it's been working great! I love the simplicity of the controls and the quality of the entire unit. Glass is thick and it heats quickly and holds the temperature well. Nothing negative to say, actually! I'm surprised that the quality is this great at this price point! I recommended it to a couple of friends, and they have both bought one and are equally as happy.

Good value. Directions are rather confusing. Works well in an old cabin. My very handy hubs did the installation. Pretty straight forward but needed to buy a converter from 220 to 110 power.

I am very happy with this electric cooktop. It heats fast, maintains steady temperature, and has a modern look that fits nicely in the kitchen. Cleanup is easy, and it works great for daily use.
