The cooker heats up pretty quickly. It takes about 6minutes to boil a small pot of water, which is not much different from a regular stove that usually takes around 5 minutes. It’s also very convenient to carry around when going out.

This single burner cooktop really surprised me with its boiling performance and how quickly it heats up! After plugging it in and turning it on, the cooktop got to its full heat within a couple minutes and had 8 cups of water boiling within a few more minutes. It’s incredibly compact and portable and easily fits in a backpack or under the seat of a car. It feels heavy-duty and durable and appears to be able to handle the rougher parts of camping. Another huge plus is that it’s super easy to clean. With just some water and a rag, you can easily wipe off any burnt food or oil which is a lot easier to do when it’s still cooling down. Speaking of that, it has a built-in fan so after you’re done using it, the fan kicks on so that the burner is back to a safe and normal temperature in about 10 minutes. It’s very easy to use and the LED touch control pad is clearly marked and labeled. Great deal for the price!

this portable cooktop has been a lifesaver during our kitchen reno while the main range is disconnected. plugs into a regular outlet and just works, no special wiring or induction compatible pans needed which is great because i can use all my regular cookware including cast iron. heats up fast and the 9 power levels give you actual control over temperature, not just high and low like some cheap hot plates.the touch controls are intuitive and the led display is bright and easy to read. timer function is really handy for simmering sauces while i work on other stuff. it gets plenty hot to sear meat, boil a big pot of water, or just keep something warm. size is perfect, small enough to tuck away in a cabinet but big enough to fit my medium pans. the built in safety features like auto shutoff and child lock add peace of mind. great little unit for tiny kitchens, dorms, rvs or reno survival like ours.
