So this is not a 240v electric cooktop or gas. Things take longer. It took me 8 minutes to bring 6 cups of water to a boil. It took 5 minutes for a box of Kraft Mac and cheese noodles to cook correctly.Its a good little unit that works if you in a bind. It came packaged very nicely and when it operates its quiet. Overall I am recommend this.

This is a game changer. I use this at work because I don't always have time to leave campus and make something, but I have been bringing in a pan and, yeah, being able to cook food in my class is an underrated luxury. Get this don't even worry, because you could use it in all situations. If you're camping, you could use it; if you're in the car and have one of those outlet plugs, you can cook from your car. It's just so versatile. It heats up really quickly and cools down really fast. It has two different sizes, so you can put different pots on it. And it's easy to use and clean. Also, it just looks really cool because it's touchscreen, so I love it. Definitely consider this.
